L’ORRORE (THE HORROR) WAS MEANT TO BE AN ANTHOLOGY OF SMALL, SELF-CONTAINED STORIES
INSPIRED BY THE NARRATIVE THEMES AND THE VISUAL SUGGESTIONS DERIVED FROM HORROR
MOVIES. LATER WE REALIZED THAT THERE IS A RED THREAD TO TIE THE VARIOUS STORIES
TOGETHER AND THAT EACH ONE, IN ITS OWN WAY, EACH OF THEM, IN ITS OWN WAY, INVESTIGATES
AND DEEPENS THE MEANING OF OUR EXISTENCE IN HUMAN FORM ON THIS EARTH. THE
MECHANISMS THAT REGULATE OUR EXISTENCE, THE DEFINITION OF A SENSE OF BELONGING TO A
SOCIAL GROUP, THE SUBMISSION TO A SINGLE PRINCIPLE. TO BUILD CITIES AND THE WILL TO
DEFEND THEM FROM THE INHABITANTS OF OTHER CITIES. ALL OF THESE ARE THE "EXTERNAL"
(YANG) AND MASCULINE ASPECTS, THAT’S TO SAY: TO KEEP ONESELF’S FOCUS ON THE WAVELENGTH
OF THE (RAW) MATTER, ASSUMING IT AS OUR FIELD OF EXISTENCE. THE MASCULINE TRAITS ARE
ONE HALF OF A WHOLE CALLED THE "CEREMONY OF OPPOSITES". ON THE OPPPOSITE SIDE THERE
ARE THE "INTERNAL" (YING) MOTIVES, THE FEMININE ONES THAT GO THROUGH THE PRINCIPLE OF
GENERATION AND CONSUMPTION OF WHAT HAS BEEN GENERATED. FEEDING THE PLACENTA AFTER
CHILDBIRTH MEANS DISMANTLING THE FORM OF WHAT HAS BEEN GENERATED, IN ORDER TO FREE
ONLY ITS SUBSTANCE IN THE WORLD. SO WE OF THE SPIRIT THAT WANDERS IN THE CYCLE OF
