INSANIA.11
was
born
from
the
cold
ashes
of
INSANIA,
a
thrash
(core)
metal
band
active
between
1989
and
1997.
in
addition
to
numerous
live
performances,
they
also
released
a
handful
of
rehearsal
tapes
and
a
demo (GENESI, 1994).
in
2008,
the
first
embryonic
form
of
INSANIA.11
took
shape
as
a
solo
studio
project
managed
by
Samaang
alone.
This
resulted
in
the
release
of
a
limited-edition
ep
("i
diari
di
Samaang:
l'ostato
larvale")
in
2010.
this
was
followed
by
an
attempted
reunion
with
the
three-piece
that
had
recorded
"GENESI"
in
2011.
the
difficulty
in
realigning
their
musical
intentions
led
Samaang
(voice
and
guitar)
and
Ethrum
(guitar)
to
decide
to
end
the
compositions
as
a
studio
project,
drawn
up
or
partially
developed
in
the
rehearsal
room
between
2011
and
the
first
half
of
2015.
they
formed
the
tracklist
of
the
ep
"DI
SANGUE
E
DI
LUCE",
which
was
published
in
september
2016
in
digital
version
and
in
february
2017
in
physical
edition,
receiving
good
(sometimes
excellent)
feedback
on
specialized
italian
and
foreign
webzines,
however
suffering
from
the
lack
of professional distribution.
Between
march
2017
and
july
2018,
INSANIA.11
completed
the
composition
and
recording
of
their
next
album,
"L'ORRORE,"
and
then
proceeded
with
mixing
and
mastering,
which
was
completed
in
december
2018.
After
miserable
ordeals
with
an
english
label
first
and
then a shadowy italian label, "L'ORRORE" was released in october 2019.
The
writing
of
the
new
work
"Il
Mondo
aldilà"
began
in
2019
and
underwent
unprecedented
pandemic
contamination:
the
forced
isolation
caused
by
the
lockdown
led
to
viral
proliferation
on
the
composition,
bringing
the
tracklist
to
12
tracks
for
a
total
duration
exceeding
68
minutes.
The
arrangement
work
carried
out
in
the
rehearsal
room
was
supported
by
the
writing
of
a
singular
narrative
concept
and
the
refinement
of
the
vocal
lines
by
Samaang,
who
took
a
year
to
refine
his
extreme
singing
techniques,
taking
lessons
from
Roberto
Deblasio
of
Scream
Studios.
With
the
arrangements
and
vocal
lines
completed
towards
the
end
of
2024,
we
arrive
in
the
spring
of
2025
with
a
first
internal
master
whose
margins
for
improvement
have
convinced
us
to
entrust
the
mixing
and
mastering
work
to
marco
allemandi's
triora
records,
who
will
complete
the work at the end of november 2025.
